Dorothy Can’t Sing – The Weird Thing is a Gen X lament tour through spoken word, songs and poetry. In Dorothy’s debut performance she was described as brave, fierce, talented, passionate, funny, moving and wonderfully entertaining.
She will make you laugh, cry and spark both internal and external conversations about personal challenges, politics and aging in today’s opinionated environment.
At 49 years old Dorothy had a “mid-life awakening” and decided to take drum lessons to fulfill that lifelong dream of becoming a musician in a band.
Dorothy’s background includes dance, theater and more recently forming the Lehigh Valley’s award winning punk band, Resting Punk Face where she was the drummer and contributed to both singing and songwriting.
Dorothy Can’t Sing is the next step toward having that vision fully realized as a front woman performing her own lyrics.
